Weekend Whirls

Personally, weekends for me aren't about relaxing. They're more about doing fun things and hanging out with friends and family. I mean - yes, I do like to relax sometimes, but we can all admit that relaxing isn't at all as exciting as going out for a day!

And for that reason, (while I'm ill) I'm going to be introducing you to just a few of the things I enjoy doing at weekends, some of which are even moneyless...

1. Staying over night at a friends house...

A nights stay at your friends house OR have your friend come to stay at yours. If you ever have a 'sleepover' with your friends, the host needs to make it exciting. You can do this by getting some comfy cushions, making some hot chocolate and having a cosy pamper evening in your onesies. Or you can watch a movie, with popcorn and fizzy drinks at your side. It's totally up to you and your friends, but try to remember to be creative! Plus it can be totally free of money :)

2. Shopping...

I know what you're thinking. Your head is saying "I don't have a lot of money!" To be honest, neither do I. There's some small shops in walkable distance from where me and my friends live, we go shopping in that area occasionally as there's cheaper and more affordable shops - such as pound shops and even super markets! You don't have to be all fancy, you can shop whenever and wherever you like and still get cute little gifts and purchases <3

3.  Have a pamper evening/day...

If you pop down to LUSH/The Body Shop (popular bath shops) or even pound shops to buy bath bombs, soaps and scrubs (maybe you already have the products) it's totally worth the pamper! Start off by soaking your feet in warm water, followed by applying a clay face mask to them. Whilst it dries you can start applying a mask to your face - if you check online, you can follow instructions to make homemade ones using ingredients from your kitchen! Sit down and enjoy a movie in your comfiest clothes.

4. Activities out...

Go out with friends/family. Ice-skating, swimming, animal rescues, zoos, cinema, rock climbing, sledging and restaurants. But if you don't have enough money there are things to do at home...

5. Activities in...

You can also bake, go to the park, walk your dog, train your dog, do art, watch movies or read books.

I really hope you enjoy your weekend! Remember to have fun and enjoy freedom ;) haha!
What are you up to this weekend?

  1. My dream weekend would definitely be a sleepover where we all bake stuff and then wait for them to cool down by watching a movie, and then decorating the baked goods and eat them whilst watching another movie!
